The USA AFRICAN COMMAND VISIT TO GTUC FELT THE PRESENCE OF CRITAC CYBER SECURITY DIVISIONS IN ACCRA, GHANA
CRITAC Cyber Security Division was present at the United States Africa Command. This is a United States Government Department of Defence sponsored exercise aimed at developing workable concepts for harmonizing Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Information Systems (C4IS) capability among African Armed Forces.
Hard work and Perseverance, they say pay a lot like the team at CRITAC’s Cyber Security Division spends nights preparing and working with the head of the Computer Science Department at the Ghana Technology University in preparation to host the US Africa Command at the maiden Africa Defence Cyber-Security symposium.

The department of computing headed by Dr. Kester Aphetsi-Quist did a presentation to the United States Africa Command, African Union and Ministry of Defence representatives and some other Francophone delegates on Cyber Security Training Ghana Cyber Security Programmeâ€
A report made by the US Africa Command confirms how they were excited and happy to know how far Ghana can go with the research into Cyber Security
“Elaborating on working together, Dr. Kester Quist-Aphetsi, the head of the computer science department at GTUC, discussed the cutting-edge research taking place at the university, the partnerships among the interagency, and other steps it took to get the university and Ghana to its current level of successâ€.
